Protests have hit the UK city of Bristol at the weekend, as the aftershock of the death of Sarah Everard, who was reported missing in London on March 4th, continues to move through the ranks of police and politicians.

In Australia, the allegations of sexual misconduct within the ‘Canberra Bubble’ have also sparked protests, with both countries wrestling behind COVID related crowd control laws, and the democratic right to protest.

Kevin Suarez spoke with Cristy Clark, senior lecturer with the University of Canberra Law School.
