Eager to fly out of the disaster of last week, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull landed in some smoother waters this week, with British Prime Minister Theresa May very pleased to see him.

She wanted to talk trade, and motivation on both sides was high to move on from domestic political issues at home.

Meanwhile Trade Minister Steve Ciobo is in talks with the European Union, in discussions about free trade agreements.
