It may be a pacific paradise but Tonga’s been a difficult place to live recently as a six week strike by public servants brought the nation to a a standstill. Tongan newspaper editor Pesi Fonua says democracy is one of the issues as the King of Tonga’s age and health suggest that his reign may soon be over with no obvious successors.
