So how much does peer pressure play in influencing teenagers decisions about having sex? A new report from the US – ‘Estimating Peer Effects in Sexual Behaviour Among Adolescents’ – suggests peers are having more of an influence than we thought before and online social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are becoming discussion forums for teenagers to tell all about their sexual experiences.
