Three MP’s spent last night in an abandoned house near a wind farm in Waterloo to determine whether the noise was enough to keep them awake at night. The owner left his home because the sound from the turbines was causing sleep deprivation and health issues. Liberal MP David Ridgeway, Labor MP Russell Wortley and Greens MP Mark Parnell spent the night at the house in South Australia’s mid-north. The thirty-seven wind turbines were installed just out of Waterloo three years ago and although residents say they are unsafe, some experts say the perceived health effects are “nonsense”.
