The Right to Disconnect is one of the workplace laws that has been enacted in countries like France Germany Italy and Czech Republic.  It is part of issue that has prompted the legal action from Kooyong MP Monique Ryan’s ex Chief of Staff Sally Rugg.

The return to work issue also is affecting many, as they have become accustomed to the convenience of working from home.  Also the December 2022 changes to the Fair Work Act has given employees the right to choose to disclose or not disclose information regarding remuneration or employment conditions.
