The fracking debate has been reignited, but now it has moved to the south-east of South Australia. A group of eleven south Australians including farmers, politicians, lawyers, doctors and a journalist have embarked on a trip to the United States to understand the effects of fracking on the environment and health. They are touring Pennsylvania and New York State, where there are thousands of gas operations similar to the shale gas mines proposed in South Australia.
