Mental health policy is becoming an important issue in the 2025 Federal Election with both major parties offering mental health announcements over the last few weeks.

Early in the campaign the Liberal Party announced they would increase the number of bulk-billed psychologist appointments to twenty while the Labor party announced a billion-dollar investment in early invention and Medicare mental health centres.
