It’s a job that people do for love not money, but a study released this week showed that workers who do the caring jobs, looking after the young the sick and the elderly, are in low paid and dead end careers. The study “Careers at the CoalFace” was done by South Australian umbrella organisation for Social services, SACOSS, and according to director Karen Grogan it confirms what people in the industry have been saying for years.
