Taskforce investigates Aboriginal child sexual assault in NSW

In New South Wales, an investigation into the incidence of Aboriginal child sexual assault has begun. A taskforce overseeing the process, is planning to visit 13 regional communities in coming months. Chair Marcia Ella Duncan says the very nature of the inquiry dictates the need to establish an element of trust with survivors of child sexual assault, and provide the right support for victims to come forward.
