The biggest polluters in NSW are repeatedly violating their environmental licence conditions, according to a study by a local environmental group. Despite earlier audits which identified breaches of conditions, companies were more likely to pay the fines rather than change their behavior.The Total Environment Centre’s Jeff Angel says that NSW authorities are not fully aware of the combined effects of all pollutants on local environments.
