The Public Interest Advocacy Centre will launch a draft Stolen Generations Reparations Tribunal Bill next Friday, based on almost 10 years worth of research and consultation. Not focusing on compensation alone and based on Canada and South Africa’s experiences, this draft bill’s main aim is to restore identity and take the next step toward reconciliation.
