The Gold Coast is hosting Sparkle in the Sand – as a celebration of the LGBTQI community in Australia.
Australian drag queen Courtney Act will host the event alongside DJ Kitty Glitter, Marcia Hines, Beccy Cole and many more performers.
While this event may showcase how proud Australia is of the queer community, more than half of the nations in the Commonwealth still discriminates against the LGBTQI people.
