One by one they slipped silently into Adelaide last night – low silvery space ship-like vehicles at the end of their annual race from the Northern Territory. But coming along behind the solar cars, and due to arrive this weekend, are a fleet of much more ordinary looking cars – these are travelling on alternative fuels. Greenfleet CEO Henry O’Clary told Annie Hastwell why it’s these alternatively fuelled cars and not their glamorous solar companions that are the real future of transport in this country.
