Yesterday the Queensland government announced a new policy on social housing tenants that aims to keep them with a roof over their heads, instead of kicking them out on the street. The Fair Expectations of Behaviour Policy is especially directed towards tenants with complex mental health problems and is informed by a review conducted by the Queensland Mental Health Commission earlier this year.
