Qantas is yet again experiencing financial storms and 5000 jobs are on the line. The company’s half yearly profit statement is expected to be announced tomorrow and it’s believed that the major cuts slated will reduce the airline’s financial losses and help them get them back on track.
The government is proposing changes to the Foreign Sales Act to allow the airline more business freedom, however the Opposition says this will tarnish Qantas’ National Airline image.
