This week young people around the country are taking part in youth week. As well as a celebration of youth culture it’s also a time to focus on some of the issues affecting people under 25. One of these issues is homelessness. In Australia forty three percent of homeless people are aged under 25 years. To bring attention to the plight of youth homelessness the National Youth Coalition for Housing is co-ordinating activities around Australia for Youth Homelessness Matters Day on April 18th. In New South Wales activities are being organised by the Youth Accommodation Association.
