Advocates across the Sexual Violence Prevention sector are calling for an increase in funding ahead of the Queensland State Budget set to be released tomorrow.
Queensland sexual violence prevention services haven’t received a substantial increase in core funding for 27 years. And without the funding necessary to address the recent surge in disclosure rates and service demand, victims of sexual violence are feeling the consequences.
