Science is under siege in the US. and scientists are acusing the Bush Administration of misusing and systemtically manipulating scientific findings. The Union of Concerned Scientists, an organisation that is highyl critical of the current government, says the Bush Administration suppress, discredit or alter facts it doesn’t like. Dr Kurt Gottfried, the chairman of the UCS says all administrations seek to some extent to mould their scientific ecidence to fit their politcal agendas, but never in the scope and intensity of Bush junior.
