The endangered Moon Bear is facing a cruel life imprisonment behind bars for their medicinal bile – a farming trade that involves a crude metal catheter implant into the gall bladder of the bear. Jill Robinson, founder and CEO of the Animals Asia Foundation, walked onto one of these farms in 1993, and ever since has been persistently working with the Chinese Government to eliminate these barbaric farms and restore health and freedom to the bears. Currently, Jill is on a national tour to raise funds and awareness for China Bear Rescue which has thus far seen 185 Moon Bears rescued. Her aim is to see all 7000 farms abolished by the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
