The leaders of the Commonwealth nations are in Perth, Australia, for CHOGM from the 28th till the 30th of this month. President of Rwanda Paul Kagame is here and the Rwandan community in Australia is furious. The country’s recent membership to the commonwealth, has been contested as Rwanda is not a British colonial country but French. Is Rwanda reaping benefits of being a Commonwealth member? One thing is for sure, that its membership has been met with much criticism.
