“Rushed” removal may damage Indigenous Rock Art

Three sacred Indigenous rock engravings at Murujuga, Western Australia, were removed this month to make room for a new A$6.4 billion fertilizer facility.
Archaeologists are concerned about this seemingly rushed operation which may damage the most important rock art site in the world and possibly the next Australian UNESCO World Heritage site.
