More than 40,000 people marched through the streets of Sydney on Sunday in protest of the Work Choices legislation. Rocking the government out of office was their aim and Aussie rock their sound track. The march was the lead up to the Rocking for Rights concert at the Sydney Cricket ground organised by Unions NSW. It wasn’t all about music – with many participants saying their working conditions had worsened following the introduction of the new industrial relations laws.
