Renewed employment service set to benefit rural jobseekers

Forty thousand jobseekers across 60 remote areas will find it easier to get a job and work on projects benefiting the community.

It’s what the Federal government hopes as the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) replaces the Community Development Program (CDP).

RAES aims to deliver culturally safe support for jobseekers and help communities co-design projects with providers needing to use 25 percent of their budget on projects.
