A new report released by the South Australia Council of Social Service is shining a light on fundamental gaps in water supply and safety issues for regional communities in South Australia.

Despite the delivery of basic water services being recognized as a fundamental human right, many regional and rural areas are being ignored.

Concerns have also been raised over confusion surrounding the responsibility for water management, as a distribution of accountability has led to a lack of direct action.
