Plans were released today detailing Energy Giant, Santos’ plan to pump Carbon Dioxide emissions deep under ground in South Australia’s Cooper Basin. Just the latest development in the booming industry of Carbon Offsetting. But for all the hype around the eco-friendly industry there remain some hard and fast rules to the Carbon dilemma. The Wire spoke with industry professionals Carmel Dundon from Trees for Life and Dave Sag, CEO with Carbon Planet about the realities of Carbon offsetting.
