All around the world, companies are under fire. By divestment campaigns, regulators, and even sanctions. Both consumers and governments have the big brands under their sights. Critics say it’s all justified because of the way companies have behaved. Many have polluted excessively, stashed their cash offshore to avoid paying tax, and traded surreptitiously with the likes of North Korea, Iran and Russia. All purely in the pursuit of big payoffs. But what if there was another kind of company? One that didn’t just seek profit for a small coterie of insiders and shareholders?
