National Indigenous advocate Reconciliation Australia has welcomed the Victorian Government’s move to establish a truth and justice commission.

CEO Karen Mundine said the truth commission will be a chance to heal past injustice against Indigenous Victorians.

However, Ms Mundine wants to make sure those who come forward to tell their stories aren’t re-traumatized by the process.
