After two consecutive quarters of GDP contraction, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has confirmed that Australia is in recession.

The combination of last summer’s bushfires and COVID-19 shutdowns have proven to derail the economy.

With this has also come concerns about how America’s flailing economy will hinder Australia’s efforts of economic recovery.
