Afghan President Hamid Karzai has called on the US to stop using aerial bombing to target militants. His comments came in response to one of the bloodiest days for civilians in Afghanistan since the war began in 2001. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she regretted the incident, but a US military spokesman has since said they won’t be acceding to Karzai’s demands. The story begins with President Karzai, speaking on CNN.
