Pozieres mayor visits Australia to remember the fallen

Everyone in Australia knows the story of Gallipoli, but how many of us know the story of Pozieres? During WWI, Pozieres in France was the site of the greatest losses suffered by any Australian division, in our country’s history. Now the Mayor of Pozieres has come to Australia to raise awareness of the battle in which 7000 Australians were killed, and to raise funds for a memorial to commemorate the fallen.
