He’s been particularly incensed by Malcolm Turnbull’s suggestion this week that a baseline and credit scheme could be the answer to letting the coal industry carry on as usual. Clive Hamilton, who is professor of Ethics at Charles Sturt University says a parliamentary democracy is really incapable of responding adequately to the climate crisis. He is accusing Parliament of sabotaging the country’s future.
