The state of Western Australia has proved a thorn in the Labor Government’s side for years. Colin Barnett’s refusal to go along with Gonski and a number of other government schemes has distanced the state’s public from the Labor message. But Gillard’s community cabinet is in town to get back in touch with the locals.
