Townsville Court continued to hear testimony from Police today, as the committal hearings over the unrest on Palm Island last November continued. Twenty three people are facing various charges for their alleged involvement in the riots, which saw the police station and barracks torched after a man died in police custody. Radio 4K1G’s Marcus Smith was at the hearings today and says some officers appeared to be uneasy on the witness stand.
