Israeli blockades of the Gaza strip, settlers refusing to leave the West Bank, missile attacks from Gaza, prisoner exchanges, suicide bombers… the conflict in the heart of the middle east between Palestinians and Israelis appears to the West to be entrenched, never ending, and impossible to solve. But what about those living in the refugee camps? 60% of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories are under 19 years old, but what do we hear of their stories? Australian radio producer and self-described new media enthusiast – Daz Chandler- designed a program to teach young refugees podcasting, in an attempt to break down main stream stereotypes in the media.
