Uluru is a destination for most tourists to visit in Australia.

However, it has been rumoured that the sacred site might lose much-needed tourism as the ban on climbing Uluru comes into effect this October.

Politician, Pauline Hanson, has embarked on climbing the sacred site despite the wishes of the local Anangu people to keep the site open for climbing.

Although Warren Mundine, an Aboriginal politician and leader, highlights cultural experiences with the local custodians to be the focal point of one’s visit, rather than climbing the rock.
