The United States will cut funding for the UN body for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) after the organization voted that Palestine become a full member.

The US is claiming that UNESCO’s decision will impede future peace talks by recognizing Palestinian statehood. But experts say that this may be a step forward for Palestine and that financial setbacks can be overcome.Farah Ahmed reports.
