Over-policing concerns for Indigenous communities


Police surveillance across Australia has been increased to reduce the spread of Covid 19 by monitoring social distancing.

However there are concerns about how this disproportionately impacts Indigenous people.

Associate Professor Chelsea Bond from The University of Queensland Poche Centre for Indigenous Health explains how rationalising punitive measures disproportionately harms Indigenous communities.
