The Australian Nurses Federation is commemorating Intenational Nurse’s Day by welcoming the Federal Government’s increased funding for health services for Indigenous families In these hard times of funding cuts and staff shortages, nurses have remained advocates for the quality of health care we receive. However they say that indigenous health care has never reached the standard of that most Australians enjoy.
