New South Wales cyclists and drivers will now face tougher penalties for not following road rules. Drivers will also cop demerit points if they fail to leave at least one metre between them and a cyclist. As of March 1 2017, cyclists will also have to carry photo ID in order to make it easier for police to enforce the fines. But will this latest cycle of road safety rules end the war between car and bike?
