It’s final semester for some med students around Australia but instead of pulling on their scrubs and preparing for the steep learning curve of an intern, they’re waiting. And waiting. It seems the waiting lists for our hospitals have even extended to our medical students. Bridget Backhaus investigates why these students can’t get trained up.
