The conviction rate in rape and sexual assault cases is an incredibly low two percent. This week the South Australian government announced a review to look at the reasons for this. Jodi Sloan works in a rape and sexual assault referral centre and sees first hand the effect on victims of going to trial with little hope of justice. Mary Heath is a law lecturer at Flinders Universityand she hopes the review will result in a better deal for victims.
