Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders have fought for equality for many years, but one of the final battle frontiers could be television. A proposal by federal communications minister Stephen Conroy would see SBS collaborate with the National Indigenous TV network to develop a free-to-air channel- solely dedicated to indigenous programming.
