Euthanasia is now legal in certain circumstances  in WA after the McGowan government’s voluntary assisted dying law clearing its final parliamentary hurdle last night. It’s been hailed as an historic victory but some euthanasia advocates say it doesn’t go far enough and discriminates against people who aren’t sick. Dr Philip Nitschke told National Radio news that Australia would be better to follow the Swiss model.
