New research reveals how Australians are reshaping their perceptions on gender equality.

The study – titled Gender Compass, was conducted by Plan International Australia and surveyed over 2000 Australians with diverse backgrounds.

The Survey asked questions relating to gender equality and gender identity, with 90% of respondents saying that gender equality is “important to them personally.” However, other findings indicated Aussies still have a way to go.
