New streamlined pathways for Veterans’ PTSD support

Last month, the new Veterans’ Entitlements, Treatment and Support Act (VETS Act), passed through Federal Parliament as a way of improving support for veterans and their families.

Many former and current Australian Defence Force personnel experience higher rates of PTSD than the general population, and often struggle in silence due to the deep-seated stigma of the medical condition.
