With a slew of new Senators to woo, Mathias Cormann and Scott Morrison have their work cut out to get keystone 25% company tax rate over the line prior to the big parliament break prior to Budget 2018.

Many new Senators are keeping their cards close to their chest, and the human headline, Derryn Hinch is trying hard to wring extra concessions on child abuse from the Government.  But Mathias Cormann is firm on no concessions to leave the Banks tax rate at 30% – he says this is non-negotiable
