New Report reveals worrying presence of ‘Fake Drugs’

A new investigation by the World Health Organisation (WHO) has revealed counterfeit medications are an ongoing problem that has increased rapidly in recent years.

Among the most common fake medications, are anti-malarials and antibiotics, though the problem exists for many other medical products.

As of November 2017, 20 global medical product alerts and numerous regional warnings have been released by WHO demonstrating the problem is widespread and continuing to grow.
