Getting a roof over their heads is a major issue for many lower income Australians, so today’s announcement of a new expert panel assembled to advise the Federal Government on resolving the housing problem has come as welcome news.
Some 173,000 Australians are on waiting lists to get into appropriate residences, so social services groups are commending the panel as a great step forward.
