Schizophrenia Awareness Week finishes up on the 19th of May. The week has been trying to break some of the stigmas attached to the illness and also raise awareness about how far treatment has come.
The future is looking brighter for suffers. Australia’s Schizophrenia Research Institute has been campaigning for awareness of the illness. Scientists believe they are getting closer to discovering more about Schizophrenia. Researchers are looking at what causes the illness, how it can be better treated and how it can be cured.
